You should attempt to have your money back through the vendor first. You might be able to ask your card provider or PayPal to help if you don’t get your money back. This can be done if you paid by credit or debit card or by PayPal and:
- your purchase hasn’t appeared
- your order is defective or never as described
- the vendor went away from business
In the event that you paid by debit card
Look at your card provider’s site for ways to get your hard earned money straight right back – you may have to try to find ‘disputed transactions’. It, tell them you want to use the ‘chargeback scheme’ if you can’t find.
Chargeback occurs when your card provider asks the vendor’s bank to refund the cash to your account. If successful, you’ll only reunite the total amount you compensated by card.
